How to accessorize a black velvet dress?
I have a 16th birthday party this weekend, and I don’t know how to accessorize this beautiful dress! should I go with gold? silver jewelry?
It’s short, black, velvet, with puff shoulders!
please help!!
If you are going to wear velvet you shouldnt mix it with any other colors and keep accessories to a minimum. Velvet is all about understatement. Black leather gloves, heels, stockings and diamond earrings work well and is all you should need.
Forget the jewellery, have a necklace at most in silver; it compliments black better than gold. And gold is for posers…
